Ever since Maggie Thatcher decided to let the financiers decide what to do business has gone mad.

I am really tired of reading all those polemic articles about how personal debt has spiralled out of control. How has it? As industry wants people to be in debt because loans are being offered to people and they want to borrow the money. They want people to be in debt.

Then I read that women are on average 3 times more in debt then men. Is it any wonder? Lets examine the facts

1. Women earn less
2. A hairstylist for a woman is more expensive then a man.
3. Women are expected to wear more designed clothes then men.

So what are those howlers on about who complain and whinge about the facts of live?

When I see my hair stylist I am tempted to sit in the men's section, the men are charged £7 for a hair cut, whilst a woman has to fork out at least £19 in the women's section.

Men wear the neutral suits, in fact one hardly realises how many years a man has worn a suit because they all look like the same, when a woman wears the same dress twice, the papers are onto them straightaway, especially when its a celebrity, they say "look she wore the same dress twice"

Most importantly of all women are paid less then men.

So lets work this out logically, women earn less money but are expected to look more attractive then men. Its like in nature where the males are most often plain and the female species has to attract the male by looking kind of groovy.

So then I read that women should learn to budget better, is that supposed to be a joke?

We are living in a pseudo emancipated world, OK women are allowed to do what they want but to be able to survive this women have to try double hard to attract the males, which of course costs much more money, recent studies have shown that men are more likely to spend money in a shop where they are being served by an attractive female, however this attractive female has to spend more money to look that attractive on less pay.

So why are people in debt, because they are encouraged to get into debt by people who borrow them money. Of course we live in the age of direct debits, standing orders, wages, benefits being paid regularly of course this attracts the hangers on who love to borrow and live on the interest this generates, so they take the risk knowing that all a broke punter has to do is declare a personal bankruptcy and hammer out an agreement to pay back what they can after essential costs.

In fact anybody not taking advantage of all that money being thrown at them needs to think about why not.

We are living in the free, throwaway, liberated society, that is not very environmentally friendly.

Ever since Maggie Thatcher decided that the capitalist individual is able to judge what's best for business, a lot of decisions have been made, which are the direct result of enabling individuals with money to make decisions, which are influencing public lifestyle and policies.
