What has changed?

Being naturally curious I downloaded and installed the new Internet Explorer 7 without any hesitation. I liked the look, the gel type buttons and the many functions one can also install with the Google tool bars.

I was amazed to see the Google ranking toolbar included by default and found it quite amazing that some large, corporative sites don't even get a one. I am however glad that our main page makes it to 4/10. But I am not too keen on this because Google is not everything.

Having tried this little gadget here

I noted that our listings on Yahoo are much more multiple then the Google ones and even our listings on MSN outshine the Google ones. So I thought, what do I need the Google rankings for if others rank us better. Boost your business online and be seen in millions of searches! Then I went to explore other features and found to my horror that our log in section log in box now automatically generates a warning to tell people that the site itself is not secure just the log in is. So I thought, what's the difference, you could not get in whether the site is secure or not but just to please people I moved all our customer section over to a secure site we got with BT. But logging into this one I found to my horror that this also displays a warning, namely that there is a problem with the Security certificate and the whole address bar flashes in a warning pink. Good Grief, what has one got to do? Apparently BT has a perfectly good  valid security certificate, which they share out with customers and I really do not know why this deserves a warning. Get this with When I rung BT to moan about this I was advised to

All in all the new Internet Explorer 7 looks very pleasant and is designed to go with Windows Vista. But the best at last is the ability to directly report any suspicious site for plishing. Also very many possibilities for Internet marketing.
